Webmaster Janet Novak at
Pennsylvania Rare Plant Forum The Rare Plant Forum exists to provide information and recommendations on rare plant conservation to the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. In addition to discussing proposed changes to the list of Plants of Special Concern in Pennsylvania (POSCIP), there will be a few related presentations. This is an excellent opportunity to connect and work with other botanists, amateur and professional, who share your interest in the flora of Pennsylvania. All people interested in the conservation of Pennsylvania's native flora are encouraged to attend this meeting. For more information, download the announcement and registration form Field Seminars at the Eagle Hill Institute The Eagle Hill Institute in Steuben, Maine, runs a series of highly-regarded classes in botany through summer and early fall. For example, Anton Reznicek is teaching a week-long class on sedges, rushes, and grasses, and John Kartesz is teaching the science of dendrology. For more information, see the seminars schedule on the Eagle Hill web site.
